2018 Ford Mustang Shows Off a Retro Look

The 2018 Ford Mustang makes it debut this fall. An ode to the classic 1960s style, this year’s model will have a comforting retro feel. While all of the available packages have not been announced, the iconic corral grille will be making a return on the confirmed Pony Package. Subtly updated, this traditional pony-in-corral grille design could be found on the Mustangs of yesteryear from the mid-1960s. Offered intermittently with various redesigns, the most recent variant appeared on the 50th Year Limited Edition Ford Mustang model in 2015.

The Pony Package shows off 19-inch polished aluminium wheels, bright beltline and window trim on coupe models. Understated stripes run the length of the lower body sides and a tri-bar pony badge on the rear decklid applique round out the 2018 Ford Mustang exterior. The interior cabin will feature Ebony embroidered pony logo floor mats.

Ford is saying goodbye to the V6 engine and hello to a 2.3-liter turbocharged I4 in its place. An exact release date is not known at this time, but is rumored to be sometime this coming October. We will share more information on packages, pricing and availability as we are made aware of it.

Be the first to schedule a test drive of the 2018 Ford Mustang when it hits our store this Fall. We look forward to seeing you at Faith's Ford in Brattleboro, VT!
